My dad’s old recipe. Vinegar and mustard based sauce. Great for dipping. Note this is the original recipe. I tried this exactly and it was terribly salty. I think he meant 1 tsp of salt rather than a tablespoon. Try it with less salt. Also I used cooking oil – that did not work well either.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cps Ketchup
- 3 tbsp Mustard Brown
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Liquid Smoke
- 1 cps Water
- 2 tbsp Sriracha
- 1/2 cps Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 cps Butter melted
Servings: cps
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together with mixer, while mixing, add butter. Simmer slowly until thick.
