Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 med Onion diced
- 1 lg Carrot diced
- 2 med Ghost Pepper seeded & chopped
- 1 small Shallot diced
- 5 clove Garlic minced
- 1/2 cp Rye Whiskey
- 1 whole Lime juiced
- 1 cp Ketchup
- 1/4 cp Tomato Paste
- 1/4 cp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/3 cp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 cp Brown Sugar packed
- 1/8 cp Molasses
- 1/2 tsp Tumeric

Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, add olive oil, onion, carrot, ghost pepper, shallot, and garlic and simmer for 10 minutes until onions are translucent.
- Deglaze with rye whiskey.
- Cut lime and squeeze juice into pan and discard rind.
- Add ketchup, tomato paste, worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, and tumeric and bring to a simmer and let bubble for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool and process with a blender.
