Pork Spare Ribs – Oven Baked
For when you’re craving ribs, but it’s -10°F outside and can’t smoke them. Best served with homemade cole slaw and cornbread.

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F.
  2. Pull membrane off back of ribs, rinse, and pat dry.
  3. Rub mustard over both sides to give a thin coat. Then sprinkle memphis meat dust onto both sides and rub in.
  4. Place ribs meat side down onto a sheet of tin foil and wrap around. Then place meat side up on another sheet of tin foil and wrap tightly. Place on a baking sheet and baked for 2 hours covered.
  5. Remove foil and baste with BBQ sauce and return to oven for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove and turn oven to broil. Baste a second time with Bbq sauce and retune to broil for 5 minutes. Remove and serve.
Recipe Notes

I did this recipe covered for 2.5 hours and uncovered for 0.5 hours the ribs came out ‘fall off the bone’ which meant I over cooked them.
